Schedule performance is a central aspect of infrastructure project delivery, as changes in execution conditions and additional safety requirements may significantly alter schedule logic and extend the duration of critical activities, with organizational and financial consequences. This paper presents a case study of the dismantling of the Old Sava Bridge in Belgrade, focusing on the schedule impact of protective measures required by the demining authority and on the modification of the main-span dismantling methodology developed to mitigate these effects. The introduction of protective measures in the riverbed zone constituted a new execution constraint that affected the originally planned sequence of works and required modification of the construction methodology. The results show that the proposed measures reduce project duration by approximately 100 days; however, completion remains delayed by about 97 days compared to the baseline programme.
