Location

Zlatibor is the most visited mountain and nature park in Western Serbia, famous for its mild climate, "wind rose" and its status as a premier health resort. In 2025, it remains Serbia's top tourist destination, attracting over 382,000 visitors in the first ten months of the year alone. 

Key Attractions:

• Gold Gondola: The longest panoramic gondola in the world (9 km), connecting the town center to the Tornik summit with a stop at Ribničko Lake.
• Stopića Cave: Famous for its massive 18-meter entrance and unique "sinter pools" that fill with water and overflow into 10-meter underground waterfalls.
• Gostilje Waterfall: A spectacular 20-meter drop followed by a series of smaller cascades set in a lush forest 25 km from the center.
• Sirogojno "Old Village": Serbia’s only open-air museum, preserving authentic 19th-century wooden architecture and traditional crafts.
• Tornik Ski Center: The mountain's highest peak (1,496 m), offering modern ski trails in winter and mountain biking and zip-lining in summer.
